By installing this 6-inch high board at the base of your fence, you isolate your expensive timber panels from wet soil, grass, and debris. This acts as a sacrificial barrier; it takes the brunt of the ground moisture to significantly extend the lifespan of your main panels.

To ensure it stands up to the damp conditions, the timber is fully pressure-treated. This professional treatment forces preservatives deep into the brown wood grain, ensuring high resistance against rot and fungal decay.
